Dr Michaela Asciak

Dr. Michaela Asciak completed her Osteopathic studies at RMIT University.  Michaela immediately loved the way Osteopathic philosophy looked at how all the different body systems worked in unity and the body’s ability for self-healing given the right environment. Having been an active participant in high level athletics as well as local netball, Michaela understands the importance of maintaining an optimal environment for the body to function to prevent pain or injuries.  While studying Michaela worked as Sports Trainer in the Victorian Amateurs Football League where she applied her knowledge to aid players in recovering from injury and minimising their risk of injury re-occurrence. Michaela has completed post-graduate studies in dry needling and myofascial cupping to add to her repertoire of Osteopathic treatment techniques. She will be treating at both our Essendon and Pascoe Vale clinics.
